March 17th, 2008:
ROTA’s Connect ROTAsia program becomes the
Official Representative of
iEARN in Qatar and will coordinate the program in Qatar (
iEARN-Qatar). ROTA will providing opportunities for students and teachers to collaborate through the network with other iEARN communities around the world.
March 20-22, 2008: First Workshop
The aim of this course is to guide you in correlating, planning and implementing a short-term collaborative projects that best fits your curriculum and to carve your iEARN professional development plan as part of the establishment of iEARN-Qatar (read the
Summary).

During the Pilot Phase the teachers and students from the 8 participating schools have worked on iEARN projects. They showcased their work and achievements during the iEARN-Qatar 2008 Open House on Friday, 7th June 2008 at Qatar Academy Senior School, Qatar Foundation, Education City.
